My name is Jay, and I'm, an Atlanta based photographer. Although, people often tell photographers to niche down, but I’ve always been drawn to stories in all their forms. I've mastered a variation of photography styles to accomplish this, and have allowed the tools in my bag to take me from the studio, to Essence Fest and Black Women in Hollywood!

What I've learned is that a story can live in the speech someone gives, the business they built, the anticipation of becoming a mother, or a room full of people singing happy birthday. It can unfold at a conference, a festival, or in the quiet moment of a portrait.

Whatever the setting is, I  want people to know how important they are by photographing their lives with care and recognition they truly worthy of.
